Diversity Peer Educators

Part of the University of New Haven’s mission is to “prepare…students to lead purposeful and fulfilling lives in a global society”. The Diversity Peer Educators aim to support this mission by providing opportunities for the University students to interact with one another in a way which helps them to learn about and appreciate each others’ similarities and differences.

The Diversity Peer Educators will work with the Office of Residential Life and  the Myatt Center for Diversity and Inclusion to develop and facilitate diversity programs in the University community.

Each Diversity Peer Educator will be assigned to a first-year residence hall (please see below) where they will be tasked with working with Resident Assistant(s) and Academic Peer Mentors. They will be responsible for the diversity programming within the building.
