The Graduate Student Council is the official student organization at the University dedicated to serving the needs of all graduate students.

The GSC plans regular on- and off-campus activities, serves as a liaison with campus administration to address student concerns, and is connected with campus offices to provide personal and professional development opportunities to graduate students.

My fellow Chargers,

First, I would like to welcome the new graduate students to the University of New Haven and the returning students back to campus. GSC is a student run governing body, which allows you the opportunity to voice concerns regarding the University as well as plans professional and social events throughout the semester. As a graduate student, you are automatically a member of GSC. That being said, I encourage you to attend our meetings which occur every other Wednesday in the Alumni Lounge (located in Bartels Campus Center) at 5:00 PM.

The Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs) on campus consist of clubs and organizations such as special interest, professional, cultural, and even religious organizations.

Whether it is through GSC or any RSO, getting involved will make your time at the University much more enjoyable and rewarding.
